Relax at the water’s edge on your own private beach and dock. Take a kayak ride or paddle boat. Throw a fishing line out. Spend a lazy afternoon listening to the loons, spotting the igret stalking along the shoreline, or watching the eagle soar overhead.
At the end of your day, grill your dinner and eat outside on the covered deck, with 180 degree views over the lake. At the firepit, sit back in the adirondack chairs, and enjoy s’mores and your favorite drink as the sun sets over the lake and the sky changes to multi-layered tones of red and orange.

The master bedroom with a king bed provides space to spread out, with views on the lake and garden. Nightstands on both sides of the beds and touch lamps with USB ports make it easy to keep your devices charged and nearby. A soft rug, vintage furniture and photographs of nearby places make it a comfortable place for relaxing and sleeping.
Just down the hall is a second bedroom with a queen bed with a super comfortable new mattress. If you like to wake up with the sun reflecting off the lake, this is your room. Vintage furniture and artwork make it even more special.
If you want to stay on the main level and next to a bathroom, there’s a cozy bedroom facing east and south. This has a West Elm sofa bed with a tempurpedic mattress topper that our guests rave about. It also has a desk with a view onto the lake and another view to the south courtyard garden.
On the lower level, a large family room offers 2 twin beds, plus a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a twin on top. This is just outside the recreation room with the games and huge sectional and TV for movie nights, with views and direct access onto the lake and the outside shower.

We are ideally located in the heart of the New Hampshire Lakes Region, just half an hour from Concord and an hour and a half from Boston. Excellent highways make it easy to get to, yet you feel a million miles away once you arrive on the quiet, leafy road that circles the lake. The property is on the waterfront of Locke Lake, which connects to Halfmoon Lake. Alton Bay and Lake Winnipesaukee are 15 minutes away.
Inside, you’ll find roomy sectionals for conversation or reading, a fireplace to take off the chill, a large tub for luxurious baths, air conditioning and fans to keep you cool, comfy beds with views onto the lake, a washer and dryer, interesting artwork from around the world, natural soaps/shampoos/conditioners, many ways to brew your favorite cup of coffee, and a bar with beautiful glassware for any cocktail or drink.
The lower recreation room has a special kids table, plenty of board games and toys and a smart TV with streaming channels (you log in with your subscriptions).

0% refundable if canceled after.
50% due at time of booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.
A security deposit of $750 is charged 1 day before arrival and released 5 days after departure.
